"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:
for thereby some
have entertained angels unawares."

(Hebrews 13:2)

A loving aura fills the sky
as you rest on clouds of fleece,
and angels gently tuck you in,
may you sleep in heavenly peace.

On September 30, 1999 my Ginger crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
A loving but trying your patience type of dog,
was as fast as the wind when I was working her.
I never knew which Ginger I had, until I sent her.

Ginger the Great Herding Dog.
Ginger the Wicked Witch of the East.
Ginger the Clown.

At my age, death is ever present, people have come and gone,
many I cannot remember but in my mind all my dogs that have passed over the Bridge.......
I remember each one......jas

Orry was a beautiful dog
who very much enjoyed himself in obedience here in Belgium.
The most important thing to him
was to be the best family dog that he could.
He will always be in our hearts.

He's just my dog.
He is my other eyes that can see above the clouds;
my other ears that hear above the winds.
He is the part of me that can reach out into the sea.
He has told me a thousand times over that I am his reason for being.
By the way he rests against my leg.
By the way he thumps his tail at my smallest smile.
By the way he shows his hurt when I leave without taking him.
(I think it makes him sick with worry when he is not along to care for me).
When I am wrong, he is delighted to forgive.
when I am angry, he clowns to make me smile.
when I am happy, he is joy unbounded.
When I am a fool, he ignores it.
When I succeed, he brags.
Without him, I am only another man.
With him, I am all-powerful.
He has taught me the meaning of devotion.
He is loyalty itself.
With him, I know a secret comfort and a private peace.
He has brought me understanding where before I was ignorant.
His head on my knee can heal my human hurts.
His presence by my side
is protection against my fears of the dark and unknown things.
He has prmised to wait for me....whenever....wherever.
In case I need him.
And I expect I I always have.
He is my Dog.
